Los Osos Sunset

I shot these on my birthday last January at the Back Bay Inn in Los Osos, CA. The room was a birthday present from friends who live there. They are 3 stop bracket HDR images. They bring back some very nice memories and almost make it worth getting older to have birthdays like this. Later we partook of the complimentary wine and cheese before heading off to a nice dinner at a restaurant in Morro Bay.

Thanksgiving Plans

Time flies when you are having fun. Actually, it flies whether you are having fun or not, but you get my drift… I haven’t been very active with my camera lately, and have neglected this website totally for months.  My only excuse is that I had a total hip replacement done in early September. Before that we  took a vacation in Alaska where I grabbed some video footage, but took no decent still shots. Shame on me. In any case, we are planning to go to Zion National Park over the Thanksgiving weekend. We did the same trip in 2004 where I broke in my spanking new Canon 20D. This time I’ll have my 7D as well as my Canon HF G10 video camera. Hopefully I will get some good shots to post here as well as Facebook, etc. Stay tuned for that, all you thousands of camera buffs who visit this site on a regular basis. (just kidding)

Trip to Monterey

Just a couple of snaps from a recent trip to Monterey. The first two were shot on Point Lobos and the seal was sunning him/herself in Monterey between Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row.

New Year, New Site

I have decided to covert my old site to WordPress for easier administration, and also to experiment with some things. I don’t get much traffic (if any) so I’m probably just talking to myself anyway. The new year has started off with several  real estate shoots, which is unusual this early in the year. This last Friday I was asked to cover for the vacationing LA Valley shooter and did 4 shoots–2 nice houses in Woodland Hills, and 2 condos in N. Hollywood and Studio City. Traffic wasn’t bad going or coming back, and it was like old times being back in LA again with it’s high energy vibe. I will have more to say on this later, and may put links to the finished tours, but first I want to tweak the site a bit more before I have to break away and do some yard work.
